Money, cigarettes and jewellery taken in burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses following the report of a burglary at a house in the Ashleigh Grove area of Rathfriland. burglary7The burglary happened on Friday 25th March. It was reported that sometime between 4.30pm and 11pm entry was gained to the house through a rear window and a number of items of jewellery, cigarettes and a sum of money stolen. Constable Sharkey is appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information about this incident to contact officers in Armagh Police Station on 101.
