Carmeen Road, Hilltown clean up this weekend

Local Sinn Féin environmental spokesperson Michael Gray-Sloan has said that an environmental clean up of the Carmeen Road area will take place this Saturday. Michael_Gray_SloanSpeaking to Newry Times, Sloan said, “I have arranged for a clean up of the Carmeen Road area with the local council in order to remove rubbish from the area. “It is important that we maintain a high standard of cleanliness on our rural roads and this initiative is aimed at setting high standards in the Hilltown area. I am calling on local residents to cooperate with the clean up. He added, “The clean up team will be meeting at 10am on Saturday 5th March at Carmeen Road and all local residents are welcome to participate.” Advert nihe2016
