Friends of Daisy Hill donation to Stroke Unit
The Friends of Daisy Hill Hospital have raised £2,500 to provide comforts to stroke patients in memory of the late Cahal King.
Friends of Daisy Hill volunteers, Kathleen and Robert Trotter raised the money through a concert in memory of their good friend Cahal, who had been a patient in the Stroke Unit.
The Friends of Daisy Hill has been fundraising for patient comforts for over 55 years and during this time has donated thousands of pounds to make improvements throughout the hospital.
The Southern Trust said they were extremely grateful for this kind donation.
