Police in Newry are keen to locate the owners of lost property which has been handed into Ardmore Police Station. lost4Speaking to Newry Times, Inspector Jacqui Gillespie said, “Over the last 12 months a large quantity of lost property including mobile phones, handbags, purses, wallets, cash and keys have been handed into Ardmore Police Station. “We do our best to identify owners of the property and contact them where possible, however we are currently holding property that we cannot identify owners for. She added, “This property will be held until Monday, 15th February and we would encourage anyone who has lost any of the items listed over the last few months to contact us in Ardmore on 101. If property is not claimed by 15 February it will be disposed of.”
