Appeal for witnesses after car windows smashed

Police in South Down are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage. psni21Sometime between 7.45am and 11am on Sunday, 20th September, the front and rear windscreens of a maroon coloured Nissan Almera car were smashed with large boulders. The car was parked at the seafront at the Marine Park, Glassdrumman Road, Annalong. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Heatley said, “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this damage being caused or anyone who has information which may assist our investigation. We can eb contacted on 101, quoting ref: 566 200915. “If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
