Health Minister criticised for ‘not doing his job’

Sinn Féin MLA Caitriona Ruane has expressed her frustration at the continuing absence from work of acting DUP Health Minister Simon Hamilton. ruane16Ruane said, “Residents of South Down are being left in limbo due to the fact the DUP Health Minister will not answer basic questions about health care from local constituents. “My office is dealing with a number of important issues such as those relating to patient care in the North’s sleep clinic, callipers for polio patients and waiting times, all of which need immediate action. She added, “The Health Minister’s blatant refusal to do his job is directly impacting on the provision of care for people in our local area.”
