‘Newry Does The Voice’ a huge success

The winner of the first ever ‘Newry Does The Voice’ fundraising event for Davina’s Ark and the Disappeared NI was chosen by judges Rory Rafferty, Rozlyn Sheridan and Danny Doran on Friday 3rd July in Bellini’s.

newryvoice1The event was hosted by Kevin McAllister and Sarah Toner lifted the winning trophy after being selected from a group of 12 talented singers who all took to the stage on the night.

Sarah will now sing at the ‘Newry Pride Festival 2015’ on 22nd of August.

The judges commented on the vast talent that Newry has which was evident on the night but Sarah Toner’s performance wowed the audience and the judges quoted that her voice was, ‘professional, powerful and equipped for the Westend or Broadway’.
