Man suffers jaw injury after late night Newry assault

Police in Newry are appealing for information following an assault on Martins Laneway. psni13At around 2am on Sunday, 7th June, a 26 year old man was walking along the laneway when he was assaulted by three unknown males. The victim was punched and kicked and sustained an injury to his jaw. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Nicki Martin said, “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or has information that may assist our investigation.
