Sinn Fein Slieve Gullion Councillor Mickey Larkin has revealed that yet another house in Dromintee has been burgled. larkin1“Once again a home in this area has been broken into by callous thieves,” he told Newry Times. “In a similar vein to the last incident the house was entered after midday by breaking a glass panel at the front door. Having gained access the thugs began to ransack the home. “However, it is possible that they were disturbed as only one room was searched. Thankfully, this time, their efforts were in vain as nothing was taken. “A white southern reg van was seen in the area a number of times after midday. I would encourage residents to take note of and report any vehicles or people which they feel are acting suspiciously around their homes. Together we can beat the burglar,” he added.
