Put your questions to Newry PSNI Commander on Twitter

Newry, Mourne and Down District Commander, Superintendent Simon Walls is inviting the public to put their questions to him on Twitter.

twitter3twittThe Commander will hold an hour long open tweet session on local PSNI Twitter accounts for Newry and Mourne and Down on Thursday, 18th June, between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

You can come on live and chat with the Commander or submit your questions beforehand on Newry and Mourne Twitter and Down Twitter using the hashtag #YourPSNI

Superintendent Walls said, “I have been Commander in Newry, Mourne and Down since April and the vast majority of people I meet from the local area want to know more about policing and what we do.

“Social media is invaluable to us in Newry, Mourne and Down when it comes to engaging with the communities we serve and this is a simple way of giving you the opportunity to find out what you always wanted to know about policing.

“I will do my best to answer all your questions and would encourage you to forward your questions to me prior to the tweet session using the hashtag #YourPSNI. Everyone is welcome to join in the tweet session and I look forward to talking to you on 18 June,” he added.
