Police in Warrenpoint are appealing for information following criminal damage that occurred at a church in the Rathfriland Road area of Hilltown. psni13Sometime between 8pm on Saturday 23rd May and 8.30am on Sunday 24th May, stones were thrown at two windows of the church, damaging them. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Kelly Murphy said, “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Warrenpoint Police Station on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 453240515. “Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
