Newry police appeal for information after theft

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the theft of a digger.

psni10Sometime between midnight and 6.30am on Thursday, 9th April, a 22 tonne Case CX210 digger with a 5ft digging bucket was taken from a construction site on Clontigora Road, Newry. The digger is orange with a grey cab.

Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Garry Young said, “We would like to hear from anyone who has information about the theft or whereabouts of the digger. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 209 090415.

“If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
