Easter with the Kids at the Cloughmore Centre, Kilbroney Park

As part of the East Border Region Tourism Development Plan, Newry & Mourne District Council have secured funding from the EU’s INTERREG IVA Programme to run a series of six events in the newly entitled ‘Cloughmore Centre’ – the Event Space at Kilbroney Park, Rostrevor. easter9This Easter there are a range of free events on offer to keep the kids occupied over the holidays including Easter themed Craft Workshops on both Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th of April (11am and sessions). Kids can enjoy arts and craft activities linked to local myths and legends, face painting and a special guest appearance from Alice in Wonderland and The Mad Hatter. On Friday 10th April, Irish Downhill champion Colin Ross (Rosco) will be at the centre for a bike skills and tips workshop for kids aged 7+. This is a free event and provides a great opportunity for kids (and their parents) to learn more about mountain biking, skills, bike safety and top tips from an award winning mountain biker.
