Cash and jewellery taken in Warrenpoint burglary

Detectives in Warrenpoint are appealing for information following a burglary. Sometime between 10.15am and 12.30pm on Wednesday 11th February, entry was forced to a house in Rosses Quay area of Rostrevor. The house was searched and a sum of cash and jewellery taken. Detective Constable Hugh McKay said, “A silver BMW 7 series with a southern registration was observed acting suspiciously in the area around this time. “We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident and can be contacted on 101, quoting ref: 493110215.” If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
