Free ‘People’s History’ course at Newry Museum

Newry and Mourne Museum is offering members of the public the opportunity to obtain an OCN Level 2 qualification whilst developing their skills and knowledge to carry out their own historical research, put together exhibitions and produce publications. The training is sponsored by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Department of Social Development and the EU’s Peace III Programme, and therefore there will be no charge to participate. Light refreshments will be provided. All work for the qualification can be completed during the four day course and there is no requirement to do additional work at home. The course will take place at Newry & Mourne Museum, Bagenal’s Castle, Castle Street, Newry from Monday 23rd February to Thursday 26th February from 10am – 2:30 pm each day.
