Newry police probe Warrenpoint Road theft

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the report of the theft of machinery from a bowling club in the Warrenpoint Road area. The theft is believed to have taken place sometime between Thursday 8th and Wednesday 14th January and it is thought that a van or a lorry would have been used in the removal of the machinery. Sergeant Colin Massey is appealing for anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has been offered gardening equipment for sale to contact officers at Ardmore on 101 quoting reference 477140115. Information can also be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
