Call for witnesses after Camlough theft

Local police are appealing for information following the theft of a van in Camlough.

The white Ford Transit van which was stolen from Carrickcruppen Heights

Sometime between 3.10pm and 3.25pm on Monday, 19th January, a white Ford Transit, registration REZ 8903, was taken from a building site at Carrickcruppen Heights, Quarter Road.

Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Sean Bell explained, “The van has a short wheel base and is medium height with a ladder on the rear door leading to the roof rack. It also has a large, rusty scrape on the driver’s side. The van contained a large quantity of work tools.

“We would like to hear from anyone who has information that could assist our investigation. We can be contacted in Newtownhamilton on 101, quoting ref: 677190115.”
