Police in South Down are appealing for information following an attempted burglary in Kilkeel. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Paul Bloomer explained, “We received a report of an alarm sounding at a house in Manse Road just before 10pm on Sunday, 26th October. “We attended and found that the back door had been forced however the house had not been entered. “We believe the culprit or culprits may have made off across the garden. We’d like to hear from anyone who noticed any activity around the house at this time or has information in relation to this burglary. We can be contacted on the 101 number, quoting ref: 1205261014.”
