Local Carrivemaclone and Liska area Councillor Liz Kimmins has confirmed that a number of homes in the locality have been targeted by thieves and she has appealed for the community to secure their homes. The Sinn Féin representative said, “I have been made aware of a number of break-ins recently in the Carrivemaclone and Liska area, the most recent where two houses were broke into last night in Patrician Park. She added, “I would appeal to all homeowners to ensure their properties are locked and secure at all times. I would also ask the community in that area to be alert to any type of suspicious activity.”
