Newry Council review decision to name Raymond McCreesh Park

Newry and Mourne District Council is undertaking a review of its decision to name Raymond McCreesh Park, and is seeking views in relation to this matter.

In relation to Newry and Mourne District Council’s Section 75 obligations, to have due regard to the need to promote equality of opportunity and regard to the desirability of promoting good relations, the Council are interested in your views on:

  • Newry and Mourne District Council’s decision to name Raymond McCreesh Park.
  •  The impact, with supporting evidence, of the Council’s decision to name Raymond McCreesh Park.
  • Any positive and/or adverse impact, including ways to eliminate or minimise any potential adverse impact, the decision to name Raymond McCreesh Park may have had on any particular group to which you may or may not belong.

Comments should be received by Friday 19th December 2014.
