Police in South Down are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage at Marine Park carpark in Annalong. Constable Heatley, Kilkeel Response, explained to Newry Times, “Some time on the evening/night of Saturday, 6th September, damage was caused to a utilities box which supplies water and electricity to camping vans. “A sign post was also pulled out of the ground. I am asking anyone who witnessed this damage being caused or has information in relation to this incident to contact me. “I am particularly keen to speak to the driver of a grey coloured Ford car which was in the area around this time. I can be contacted in Kilkeel on the 101 number.” If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
