Car taken after South Armagh ‘creeper burglary’

Police in Newtownhamilton are investigating a creeper style burglary in the Gullion View area of Meigh which occurred sometime between 9.30pm on Tuesday 8th and 7am on Wednesday 9th April. Entry was gained to a house through a rear window and the keys to a silver coloured Toyota Landcruiser taken in order to steal the vehicle. The vehicle has not yet been recovered and police would ask anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who may have any information which may assist with their enquiries to contact them in Newtownhamilton on the new non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 147090414. Information can also be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
