St Patrick’s Day Family Fun at the Buttercrane

Join in the fun this St Patrick’s Day in Newry and you might even catch Buttercrane’s Mascot Roary the Tiger as he makes his first ever appearance in the main St Patrick’s Day parade as it makes its way up Buttercrane Quay shortly after 12 noon.

Across the district there are a host of family activities in the city on Monday 17th March – from a street ceili, live bands, face painting and children’s activities.

When the parade ends, you can still enjoy the fun with a visit to Buttercrane Shopping Centre which will play host to the Pat Christie Band 1-3pm.

On the mall you’ll hear the magical sound of the trebles as the Irish Dancing 4 Fun Troup and the Daly School from Poyntzpass perform as part of an afternoon of family entertainment which includes a free face painter for children.
