Police in Kilkeel are appealing for information following two reports of theft of fuel from properties in the Kilkeel and Annalong areas on the evening of Monday 17th February. It was reported that sometime between 9pm and midnight petrol and diesel was taken from farmyards in the Head Road area of Annalong and the Brackenagh East Road area of Ballymartin. Police believe that a vehicle was used and are investigating a link between the two incidents. Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity or who has any information about either incident is asked to contact police in Kilkeel on 0845 600 8000. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111
