Resurfacing work at Daly Park in Silverbridge

Sinn Féin councillor Mickey Larkin has commended Roads Service on resurfacing work currently being undertaken in Daly Park, Silverbridge.

“When this work is finished”, Councillor Larkin said, “there will be a much improved surface on this stretch of road.

“This will be safer for drivers and pedestrians and will ensure that vehicles are not damaged due to poor road surface.

“Sinn Féin has been actively seeking this work for a number of years so it is great for the local residents that this campaign has been successful.

Larkin added, “There are a number of other rural roads which are in need of resurfacing and I will continue to make representation to Roads Service for this vital maintenance work to be carried out.”
