Newry Armagh Assembly Member Cathal Boylan has helped launch the latest smoking cessation initiative undertaken by the Public Health Agency in conjunction with Translink and Cancer Focus. Boylan said, “Tobacco addiction is a lethal habit. We know that half of all smokers will die from smoking related causes and all smokers will have reduced levels of health. “I have come on board with the Stop Smoking Bus initiative as I think it will offer great support to those who are trying to quit cigarettes. “For the month of February this bus will be touring the towns of the north and I urge anyone who is considering quitting to hop on board, no appointment is necessary and it might just be the boost needed to successfully kick the habit.”
