South Down Neighbourhood Policing Team seized 200 fireworks on Halloween night in the Kilkeel and Annalong areas.

Police conducted a number of what they described as ‘proactive patrols’ and seized a wide range of fireworks from large rockets, to bangers and roman candles.

A number of people have been reported to the PPS for possession of fireworks without a licence.
