Police investigate spate of South Armagh burglaries

Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following a number of burglaries in the South Armagh area.

Sometime between Monday night, 19th August and 5pm on Tuesday, 20th August, homes at Low Road and Forkhill Road, Newry, Ballynamadda Road, Killeavy and Rathkeelan Park, Crossmaglen were entered and a number of items were taken.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to these incidents to contact them in Newry.

They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who noticed a small silver car with a Republic of Ireland registration in any of the areas during this time.
