Police in Newry are appealing for information following criminal damage at Carnbane Industrial Estate. Some time overnight between Friday, 26th July and Saturday, 27th July, the gates and fence of two business properties were damaged. It is believed the damage to the gates may have been caused by a vehicle. Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the industrial estate during the early hours of Saturday, 27th July, to contact them. They are particularly keen to hear about any vehicular activity, possibly involving Transit type vehicles, around the area of Shepherd’s Way at this time. Police in Ardmore can be contacted on 0845 600 8000. If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111
