Walk the Camino for your local Hospice
Is the famous Camino de Santiago on your bucket list? Or do you just fancy a new and exciting challenge?
The Camino de Santiago trail is one of the most scenic and impressive walking trails around the world which draws people from all walks of life for many different reasons.
The Way of St. James which translates in Spanish to El Camino de Santiago, is the pilgrimage route to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain, where tradition has it that the remains of the apostle Saint James are buried.
This well known walking trip explores the eighth and final section of the Camino French Way from Sarria to Santiago which takes walkers through the rural villages, rolling hills and spectacular scenery of Galicia covering 115km over 6 days.
Whether you’re an old hand (or foot!) at hiking, a recreational walker or you’ve simply been looking for an opportunity to start, now is your chance to be part of something truly amazing. Join the Hospice in this world class walking experience which you will never forget.
An information night will take place on Thursday 1st August at 7.30pm in the Sean Hollywood Arts Centre, so if you would like to find out more about walking the Camino for the Hospice please come along.
