Derrybeg FC enter local footballing fray again
Calling all local footballers, Derrybeg Football Club is back!
With an aim to participate in the 2014/2015 season, Derrybeg’s reformation begins on the 11th June this year and offers local clubs and footballers a unique opportunity.
During the 2013/2014 seasons Derrybeg FC is available for non-competitive friendlies and stand-in matches against current established sides in need of extra game time.
Local footballers can also take advantage of this opportunity for extra game time by getting involved with the club at their first meeting at 7pm on the 11th June 2013 at Derrybeg football pitch.
Footballers participating do not need any registration and are still eligible to play for their current registered club. Interested parties should bring a full kit and boots to Derrybeg on the 11th to find out more information and to participate in a training session.
All players must be at least 17 years old. Please note that parking is available at the new Derrybeg Community Centre, accessible from First Avenue in the estate. Cars must not be parked in First Avenue itself as this may cause disruption to residents.
Everyone is welcome.
