Sinn Féin representatives attend coffee morning in aid of Youth Fest NI

Chris Hazzard MLA and Newry and Mourne Councillor Sean Doran attended a coffee morning in Kilbroney Bar, Rostrevor, on Saturday in aid of Youth Fest NI and the Southern Area Hospice.

Speaking after the event to Newry Times, Chris Hazzard said it was great to be able to support such worthy causes. “Both of these organisations carry out extremely important work and it’s great for me as a local representative to be able to support them.

“The Youth Fest committee can only but be commended on the excellent project they are involved in, it is great to see young people leading the way in social change and setting a great example to other young people in the area.

Cllr Sean Doran added, “I would call on local people to come out and support this event as much as they can. I would like to congratulate the group on organising a successful coffee morning and I hope the money raised will go some way to helping this exciting project.

“Youth Fest provides a brilliant platform to bring together communities and cultures, and this is essential in moving forward. I would also like to pay tribute to the Southern Area Hospice, whose work is vital for people living in this area.”
