Attempted ice-cream van robbery sparks police investigation

Police in Newry are appealing for information following an attempted vehicle theft and criminal damage in Parkhead Crescent.

Some time between 1.30am and 11.30am on Saturday, 5th January the windows of two ice cream vans were damaged. An attempt was also made to tamper with the wiring of one of the vehicles.

Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to this incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
