Club Chairman Colin Doherty is delighted with this year’s fundraising achievements by the group and is looking forward to another year of hard work.

He commented, “We have worked incredibly hard throughout the year to raise this money and are very proud of the total we have raised to date for The Southern Area Hospice Services.

“As fundraising is becoming increasingly difficult we will be trying our best to differentiate our fundraising events and campaigns to continue supporting The Hospice.”

Regional Marketing Officer for Southern Area Hospice Sarah Colgan added,

“The members of the Bessbrook District Vintage Tractor Group are passionate about what they do and they have worked extremely hard over the past 7 years to provide much needed funds for The Hospice.

“We sincerely appreciate the dedication and enthusiasm they show each year. The money raised by the group to date is an enormous amount which has enabled us to continue providing invaluable support and care to people within the Southern Trust area.”

Notes: The money was raised through a range of agricultural events including the raffling of a Massey 135 Tractor, Tractor Runs and an Annual Threshing Fair.
