Police appeal for witnesses to ‘creeper style burglary’

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the report of a creeper style burglary at a house in the Ringbane Road area on Tuesday 16th October. Entry was gained to the house overnight and keys to a silver BMW car were taken. The car was subsequently stolen. Police are also investigating the report of the theft of a portable cabin from an address in the Belfast Road area of Newry on Friday 19th October. The 30 foot long, blue, metal container was reported stolen at around 1.45am and contained power washing equipment. Police are appealing for anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the Cargabane Road area of Newry to contact them following the report of an attempted theft of a vehicle from a property in the area on Tuesday 30th October. Police would ask anyone with any information about any of these incidents to contact them in Ardmore on 0845 600 8000.
