‘Facing up to the Challenge’ with top economist, Angela McGowan

The chief economist of Northern Bank will be in Newry on Tuesday 9th of October to deliver a key note speech on ‘Facing up to the Challenge’.

Angela McGowan, speaking ahead of the event said,

“Despite the challenging economic environment it is important to recognise that opportunities also exist. The city of Newry has a unique opportunity in that this a city with a young population and it is well-positioned along the North-South trade corridor.

“I am delighted to be asked to speak at this Women in Business “Facing Up to the Challenge” event which will explore both economic opportunities as well as the role of women in delivering future economic growth”

This networking opportunity, hosted by Women in Business, for local business women will be of value to sole traders, SMEs and larger corporate organisations and will take place in the Canal Court Hotel, Newry on Tuesday 9th October.

The event will begin at 11 am with Angela McGowan opening the event which will then be followed by facilitated networking and lunch.

Tickets to this event are £10pp+ VAT, however spaces are limited; to avoid disappointment book early.
