Police in Newry are appealing for information following an assault in the Watsons Road/Glen Hill area of the city.

Around 6.30pm on Saturday, 22nd September, a 16 year old male was walking along when a dark blue Peugeot Estate car pulled up alongside him. Two males got out of the car and punched him a number of times before knocking him to the ground.

The teenager sustained a broken nose and cuts and bruising.
