Sinn Féin councillor Anthony Flynn has called on Newry Council officials to explore the possibility of adding play equipment for less abled children at Slieve Gullion Play Park. The Forkhill councillor explained, “I have spoken with parents of children with disabilities and while they think the current play park is a fantastic addition at Slieve Gullion they do feel that it is only fair that all children are catered for. “I am in agreement with them and I have asked council officials to make enquiries into how additional play equipment might be incorporated to the park. He added, “Sinn Féin is for an Ireland of Equals and we aim to be as inclusive as possible in everything we do.  I will keep the public updated on the progress of this issue.”
