Police probe Newry attempted car theft

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the attempted theft of a car from Ashgrove Park. Around 10.55pm on Monday, 3rd September, three male youths were observed acting suspiciously around a blue Nissan Micra car. One of the males then forced entry to the car and tampered with the ignition before making off. One of the males was wearing a red hoody. Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or has information in relation to it to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
