PSNI launch investigation after Carnbane burglary

Police in Newry are investigating a burglary at a water company in the Carnbane Industrial Estate.

Sometime between 5pm on the Friday 20th and 5pm Saturday on 21st July thieves entered the premises and stole four mixer propellers worth over approximately £20,000. These items would always be accompanied by documentation and are only used in the sewage industry.

Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area, who has any information about the crime or who is offered this type of equipment in dubious circumstances should contact police in Newry on 0845 600 8000.  Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
