Police appeal for information to Newry house burglary

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the report of a burglary at a house in the Altnaveigh Park area on Tuesday 10th July. It was reported that at sometime in the early hours of Tuesday, as the occupants slept, the house had been entered and an HP laptop computer, a silver Nikon digital camera, a green and orange garden strimmer and a small amount of cash was stolen. Police would ask anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information to contact them at Ardmore Neighbourhood Policing Team on 0845 600 8000. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
