Police investigate Bessbrook crash

Police in South Armagh investigating a two vehicle road traffic collision on the Derramore Road Bessbrook are appealing for witnesses. The collision, which involved a silver Volvo S40 and a yellow Hyundai Amica, occurred around 11:00am on Mon 9th July. An 85 year old woman was taken to hospital with injuries that are described as serious but not life threatening. Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, either pedestrian or vehicular, of particular interest would be a vehicle towing a trailer which was travelling in front of the two vehicles involved. Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information is asked to contact police at Banbridge on 0845 600 8000.
