SDLP South Down MLA Karen McKevitt said she was proud to have sponsored children from St Colman’s Primary School, Saval on a visit to Parliament Buildings at Stormont. Speaking to Newry Times, she said: “Maybe I am biased but I would say these were some of the best behaved and mannerly children I have ever seen around Stormont. They got a tour of Parliament Buildings and learned about the role of the MLA and how our system of democracy works.” Children from Primary 5, 6 and 7 were on the visit and Karen McKevitt hopes to visit them in their school shortly.
