Ard Mhacha Abu: Craobh Rua would like to wish Armagh the very best of luck in their Nicky Rackard Cup final against Louth this Saturday. We are very proud of the fact that three of our senior players Ryan Lewis, Micheal Garvey and Fiachra Bradley are members of the panel and all these players have helped our County team make it to the final. The match will be played in Croke Park and the Club is organising a bus to the game. All those underage players wishing to go should contact their respective managers/coaches. The cost is £10 and the Bus will leave Craobh Rua Clubrooms at 10.30am returning at approximately 6pm.

Thurles Fund Raising Cycle: Arrangements for our fundraising Cycle to Thurles on the weekend of the Munster Hurling Championship Final are progressing well. Many players and Club supporters have expressed an interest in the Cycle which leaves Camloch on the 14th of July arriving on the 15th of July. Miceal Bradley is the coordinator of this event and all enquiries should be directed to him. Ar do Rua …. Thar (On your Bike for Craobh Rua)

There will shortly be a minor panel meeting and all panel members will be contacted when details are finalised. The Minor League resumes shortly when school exams are completed.

Annual Sponsored Walk: The clubs annual sponsored walk will take place on Sunday 17th June for under 8-10 & 12s. Sponsor cards will be available to all our underage players at their training.

Under 16: Training for the Under 16 team continues each Wednesday evening at 6.45pm and on Sunday evenings at 6pm. The League resumes in mid June after exams. Our Under 15 ½ team fell to Middletown in their semi final match. Many thanks to those who helped with transport for the game.

Under 14: Our Under 14 team had a good win at Killeavy last week. Both teams played the game in a great spirit. Oisin Cooney, Conor McKeown, Patrick Garvey and Adam Matthews showed fine skills throughout the game as did Conor Mc Kevitt, Jamie Murphy, Liam McNally and Ronan Reavey. It was a fine display by our entire team. Training and coaching continues at the usual times.

Under 12/ 10 / 8 : Our Under 12 team continue to show great promise and commitment and in all their games have worn the Craobh Rua Camlocha jersey with pride. The Under 10 and Under 8 hurlers continue to blossom and we thank all the coaches, players and parents who have worked with us to ensure that our Club and game of hurling prospers

Community: Craobh Rua Camlocha wish all our young people currently involved with their exams well. We also congratulate those from the Club who participated in the Newry City Half Marathon last weekend in memory of young Dromara lad and St Colmans student Dariush Mehrtash and to raise monies for Bone Marrow research.
