Man injured after late night Derrybeg assault

The man was assaulted on Saturday on the Camlough Road

Police in Ardmore are appealing for information following the report of an assault in the Camlough Road, Derrybeg area in the early hours of Saturday, 26th May.

Sometime between 1.00am and 2.00am a male was assaulted by a group of males. He sustained injuries to his face, back and chest. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police would ask anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact Police at Ardmore on 0845 600 8000. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
