The season is now in full flight. Our seniors have their first match of the season this Tuesday night away to Sean Treacy’s Lurgan, whilst both our Under 12 teams will have their first games of the League on Thursday night.

The throw in us at 7.30pm. Hopefully the hard work and commitment that the panel has put into the recent training programme will bear fruit on the field.

Minor: Our Minor team put up a good display against a very skilful Keady side, in their recent League match. It was a game that showed great skills from players on both sides. Craobh Rua have a bye in the League this weekend. All minor players wishing to be included in our senior panel should be at the Clubrooms this Tuesday (April 24th) for the game in Lurgan.

Under 16: The team put in a very spirited and determined performance against neighbours Killeavy in their most recent League match, falling by a four point margin. This Friday night Craobh Rua face Middletown na Fianna.

Under 14/Féile

The Féile team travelled to Killeavy on Saturday morning past to participate in the County competition. It was a great day of hurling and many thanks to Killeavy and all those involved in the organising of this event. Craobh Rua earned a great draw with Cuchulainns 1-5 each, lost narrowly to Middletown after loosing a goal in the final minutes 0-3 to1-3 and lost to Keady 1-0 to 4-5, again the young side started well but lost goals towards the end. Congratulations to Derrynoose and Keady who will play in the Armagh Féile finals and to Cuchulainns and Middletown who will contest the Sheild. Many thanks to our panel of players and all from the club who helped ensure we had an enjoyable and safe day. This Saturday our Feile team are on the road again, as they travel to Ballymena to participate in the Under 14 Féile Uladh.
