Organized Crime Detectives from the PSNI have seized a staggering 200 cannabis plants and counterfeit currency in Armagh. The discovery was made at Battleford Road in the city this week during searches.

Customs officers were brought in to examine a suspected fuel laundering plant at the premises. A 28-year-old man was arrested but later released. Police have appealed for information.

A police spokeswoman said people who own or rent property should “check their premises regularly and contact police if they become aware of any suspicious or untoward activity”.
