Kilcoo Club Notes – 19th March 2012

There is U’8 and U’10 boys training this Saturday in the Park at 3pm.

Under 14 and 16 girls’ training at the pitch on Wednesday evening, from 6.00pm to 7.00pm Girls above primary school age.

Minor Training at the pitch on Saturday at 5.00pm

Underage Camogie Training for under 12’s and 14’s over primary age will take place on Thursday from 6.00pm to 6.45pm at the pitch.

Senior Camogie Training at the pitch on Wednesday evening from 6.30pm-7.30pm.

Membership and registration evening will take place in the changing rooms on Thursday night between 7.30 and 8.30. All players must now be registered and paid up. All underage players must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Club Membership is now due and should be paid to Paddy Morgan (Dromena) or Niall Morgan.

Club membership fees for 2012 will be the same as 2011

On Thursday 12th April a new local newspaper will go on sale for the first time. It shall carry stories of local importance such as farming news, sport, community news, editorials, local information, and also carry competitively priced advertisements.

There are now 62 teams registered for the Mourne Challenge. Are you up for it? This year’s challenge shall be led by Banjo Bannon.

Anyone wanting to join a Running Club can meet at Hillyard House at 6.45 every Tuesday with John A McEvoy. Everyone welcome both male and female. Contact no 07753639696

The club is intending raising some much needed funds by turning scrap metal into cash. Over the next few months we will be arranging collection of scrap from households who wish to donate. Anyone with scrap metals of any type that they would like removed please contact Roger Morgan on 028 437 23886
