Silverbridge Tae Kwon Do students meet founding father of Tae Kwon Do

Grandmaster C K Choi 9th Degree Black Belt Came to Antrim on the 23th Feb to deliver a seminar to all Tae Kwon Do students in Northern Ireland. The Silverbridge Tae Kwon Do club was one of the clubs invited to this event.

C K Choi was one of the founding members of Tae Kwon Do and was the first ever Tae Kwon Do Champion in 1963. In the 1970s he Left Korea and moved to Canada were he open his first club in Vancouver. To this day C K Choi lives in Canada and conducts seminars all over the world and trains every single day of his life.

It was a great experience for Silverbridge Tae Kwon Do students, getting a chance to train with someone who has been involved in Tae Kwon Do since it was first started in 1955.
