Club Open Night

Craobh Rua Camlocha extends an invitation to all to attend our Club Open Night on Monday the 19th of March. The usual Monday night coaching will be suspended for that night as to allow coaches to register all players. The Agenda for the Craobh Rua Camloch a Club Open Night on Monday the 19th March is:

Registration 6.30pm – 8.00 pm Under 8s, Under 10s, Under 12, Under 14s, Under16s
Registration 8.00pm – 9.00pm Minors, Seniors, Adults

Juvenile & Senior Registration costs are:
Adult Membership £20
Adult Concessions: £15
Juveniles £10 (£7.50 for additional Children in family)

An Coiste Camlocha Craobh Rua would encourage all those wishing to apply for membership of our Club to attend the Open Night and register as members.

Currently the club has a number of volunteer opportunities which we are seeking help with and we would ask you to consider taking up one of these – details will be available on the night. However, it should be stressed that these are time limited with some requiring as little as 2-3 hours in a month – so please do consider it.

Craobh Rua Hurling Club extend its deepest sympathy to the family of recently deceased Nora Bríd Mc Ateer

Senior/Minor

Training for our Senior and Minor Hurlers continue on Tuesday night at 7.30pm in our Clubrooms. All players are asked to make the effort to attend.

Armagh Minor hurling side defeated Down in their first game of the Ulster Minor Hurling League by a 1-16 to 3-9 scoreline. Craobh Rua Hurlers Ryan

Lundy and Sean Casey participated in the game for Armagh. Congratulations to our County senior Hurling team who defeated Roscommon by a 1-20 to 1-14 scoreline in the national Hurling League. Fiachra Bradley was introduced into the game early in the second half.

Under 10 /12 /14/16

Coaching sessions continue for Under 10, 12, 14 age groups on Monday evenings from 6pm to 7pm at Newry Hockey Pitches/Complex. They have been very well attended and we thank all those who are helping out. Managers and Coaches for each age group will be in attendance and all are welcome to attend. All those participating should ensure that they have warm clothing. A Bus is provided to drop anyone attending the Hockey Club and who has a younger brother participating in the Under 8 Coaching sessions at St Pauls. This will avoid the need for parents/guardians having to drive to two sites for pick ups Our Under 14 squad also train on a Wednesday night from 6.45 to 8pm at our Clubrooms. Fiachra Bradley (07842796234 Under 10), Labhrás Bradley (07736150103 Under 12 ) and Eoghan Robb (07842614691 Under 14) can be contacted for further details . .Under 16 Coaching and Training sessions facilitated by Manager Anthony Courteny (07818090089) and Patrick Brady (07742386296) continue on Sunday mornings. All players should be at the Club for 10.45am for an 11am start.

Managers with various underage teams will continue to contact players to advise them of additional coaching and training sessions.

Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Daoibh

An Coiste of Craobh Rua Camlocha wish all a very Happy St Patricks day. We extend in particular greetings to our many young people and former players who are now living and working away from home. St Pauls Bessbrook will be playing in the MacLarnon Cup Final next Monday and we hope that they will get the victory they richly deserve. Also to Crossmaglen Rangers and Loughgiel Shamrocks we wish the very best of luck in their All Ireland Club Football and Hurling finals.
